October Favourites!

HI GUYS!
Hope you've all had a great week so far, sorry I haven't put up a post for a few days just been a bit busy with something which I will be posting about within the next few weeks so If you want to know what that Is all about it should be up within the next few weeks! (its quite a bit project)

Anyway... lets get back to the post. So I thought I would do a few of the things that I have been loving throughout this October and write a mini review about them so if any of you guys were looking to get these products it may help with with the decision of what to get or if you just love reading monthly favourite blog posts like me then carry on reading.

Okay so to get stuck into it the first product which I have been loving is the Velvet Teddy MAC Matte Lipstick, I put this in my top 5 favourite fall/autumn lipsticks (if you haven't checked it out I will put a link to it at the end). There are so many reasons why I love this lipstick so much and its a mixture of things, for one the colour is such a great nude and stays on my lips pretty much all day! I think its a great price for what you get at £15.50 and would recommend it to everyone as its a colour that absolutely anyone can wear! So overall I have just been loving this for the whole of October and thought it deserved to be in my favourites blog post.

The 2nd product I have been loving is the MAC Prep + Prime skin base visage primer which is priced at £21.50, which i think is a bit over-priced for it but I still love it! It is such a great base and gives off a slight shimmer in the light which i think is SO CUTE! As my skin is very dry this primer really worked well as a moisturiser as well which also made my make-up last most of the day! It also feels really light on your skin so isn't heavy meaning you don't really notice anything different apart from a shimmer and soft skin! Would really recommend to those with dry skin who are looking for a primer with a bit of a sparkly.
Okay so the next make-up product that I've been loving is the Roller Lash Mascara by benefit. This mascara is £19.50 which I don't think is too pricey considering the quality of the product. This mascara is such a good lengthening one as I personally don't have very long lashes but this mascara helps to extend them and make them look so much fuller! You can get this mascara in 2 different colours (black or brown) and it is the top rated mascara that benefit sell. So if you're looking for a new mascara that does exiting things for your lashes this is definitely the one you should grab!
Right so the 4th item I have really loved using throughout October is the Simple Kind to Skin Facial Toner. This product is so good at removing any little bits of make-up that didn't quite get removed before and also helps refreshen your face, especially in the morning when you have an early start! This product contains camomile within it which helps to soothe the skin and the fact that its 100% alcohol free creates a smooth feel to your skin too! Also if you don't really love putting on strong perfumed toners or creams, simple are 100% free perfume and colour which also helps rejuvenate the skin even more! Also it is such a bargain at £2.19 in Boots at the moment and you can buy it from any drugstore!
Okay so the final thing I have been loving in October is a book! I am sure lots of you reading this will have heard of this book as it  has also been made into a film which I recently also watched, but as always I thought the book was more detailed than the film but still a great film! Now the book/film I am talking about it Me Before You by JoJo Moyes. This book is such an amazing romance with such a sad but happy ending and I didn't realise what difference a book like this would have on me. It has made me realise that life is way too short and we need to live NOW and that we can't just sit and do nothing we have to make the most of our lives as Will (the main male character) did before his accident and before he met Louisa (female lead). This book put me through tears, laughter and love and it is such an easy read. I would recommend this book to everyone, so if you haven't yet read it go and read it now! Also I will soon be reading the sequel novel After You by JoJo Moyes which hopefully will be just as epic as the first! You can purchase this book off Amazon for £3.85 which is such a bargain!
Anyway I hope my favourites are as good for you as they were for me this month! Let me know what you have been loving this month in the comments!
Stay Happy
Love Lucy x

  1. I owned that M.A.C primer years ago and totally forgot how much I loved it, it's one i'll have re-purchase. I also adore the rollerlash, I ran out a few months ago so I want to pick up a new one as it makes me straight lashes so much more curled.
Great bunch of favourites! This month i've been loving my Colourpop ultra satin lipstick in 'Alyssa'.
